Services: My focus is as a birth doula, although I do take postpartum clients on a limited basis. Birth services include several prenatal meetings and belly casting, if desired, as well as 24 hour phone support, complete labor support, breastfeeding support and other individualized services.
Qualifications: Trained and certified through Doulas of North America, and the Childbirth and Postpartum Professionals Association. I have been attending births for five years.
Personal notes: I have five children of my own, all boys who are always very excited to hear about the baby when I get home from a birth! I have had a variety of birth experiences myself, including non-medicated, medicated, unexpected cesarean, and planned cesarean... I believe that the way a woman births is ultimately her choice, and I am always honored to be asked to be present!
