Services: I provide personalized childbirth preparation during three prenatal meetings. During those visits I will cover birth plan counseling, relaxation techniques, exercises, and provide resource information.I will be on 24-hour call for you during the 2 weeks on either side of your due date. I have a backup doula in place if needed. I offer continuous support throughout labor and birth and stay for the first postpartum hours. I will also provide one postpartum visit within 24 hours and one more postpartum visit within a week. I also provide breastfeeding support.

Qualifications:

I am currently working on my Birth Doula Certification through DONA. I am a member of Birthingways and the Childbirth Collective. Both organizations are in Duluth.

Personal notes: I live on a small farm with my husband and son. I enjoy gardening, horseback riding, and home schooling my son. I believe birth is a natural, raw, and powerful experience and I am passionate in providing support to women and their families during this special time!
