CESAREAN BIRTH PREPARATION - For those who are experiencing a higher risk pregnancy or who are definitely having a scheduled cesarean birth this 3 hour class is designed to provide you with information that will help you have the best possible birth experience. $50.00 per couple
EPIDURAL CLASS - This 3 hour class includes information about the epidural and other medical procedures (inductions, monitoring, episiotomy, forceps, vacuum extractor), discussion of pain and how it relates to labor and delivery, labor support ideas for partners and other pain relief measures. $50.00 per couple
PRIVATE CLASSES - We can design a birth preparation class around your needs and circumstances. Fees vary according to time, circumstances and location.
BIRTH DOULA SERVICES - Offering assistance and support during your pregnancy and birth. Doula services include a prenatal visit, birth assistance and one postpartum visit. WATERBIRTH CLASS AND BIRTHING POOL RENTALS - My soft, comfortable, inflatable pools are available for use in your home, approved hospital or birthcenter. Rental includes the Waterbirth Class, setup/removal, and one hour of assistance after pool is setup. www.pattiramos.com/waterbirths.html
Qualifications: Patti has been a childbirth educator and doula since 1980. She has taught with and for many organizations including the Franciscan Hospitals, Bates Technical College, Crisis Pregnancy Center, University of Puget Sound, Oakland Alternative School and the Puyallup Tribal Health Authority. Patti has witnessed, photographed and/or assisted with over 1,000 births. Her photographs have been published in many books, journals, magazines and on various websites. She is the mother of three children, two born in hospital and one at home.
