Services: Minimum of 3 prenatal visits, supplement of information from childbirth education classes,guidance in preparing a detailed birth plan,24 on call for birth, early labor support as needed in home or hospital, continuous care, support, and encouragement once labor has begun, suggestion of non-medical techniques to manage pain and/or speed labor, support and encouragement for all family members present, communication between laboring woman and her caregivers, care until mother is comfortable after birth, help with establishing early feeding, minimum of 2 postpartum visits, parenting and newborn information.

Qualifications: I am a DONA certified doula with experience in non-medicated and medicated childbirth, VBAC, vacuum, and cesarean births. I have been practicing since the year 2000 and have worked with both traditional and non-traditional families. I also volunteer with local organizations helping pregnant mothers in need.

Personal notes: I have been happily married to a wonderful and supportive husband since 1993. I am the mother of two wonderful children, a 7 year old daughter who was born vaginally and a 3 year old son born by cesarean. You can expect friendly, open, and honest communication from me as well as knowledgeable information, and reliability. It is my goal to help you have the best possible experience in childbirth and to ensure a positive memory that will last a lifetime.
