Services:

I offer Doula services in Central Kentucky anywhere within an hour of Richmond.  Services include prenatal and postpartum visits, as well as support during your entire labor and birth.  I use a variety of relaxation and pain management techniques including massage, acupressure, and more.  I charge $300 per birth, but may reduce my rate based on your income.  Every women who wants a Doula should get a Doula.

I also teach yoga twice a week in Richmond, and do private yoga sessions.

Qualifications:

Doula training through CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professionals of America)

Completion of Hypnobirthing and Natural Childbirth Workshops

I observed births and prenatal visits with a Certified Nurse-Midwife

I am a Certified Yoga Teacher

Personal notes:

After studying political science and dance for three years at Eastern Kentucky University, I decided to take my life in a different direction and became a Doula and Yoga Teacher.  I believe in natural wellness and holistic medicine and feel called to help women in this area.  I hope to someday become a midwife.

 I feel a great deal of compassion for a laboring woman and that allows me to do my job very well.
