Services: I will provide homebirth and hospital labor support services (prenatal visits, labor support, breastfeeding assistance, birth story and some postpartum support) to women within a 1 1/2 hr drive of Bangor, ME.
Qualifications: I completed my doula certification course (DONA) in Jan. 2002 and have attended 2 births (Sept. 2002 and Feb. 2003) as part of my certification process. I wish to be certified by the end of summer 2003.
Personal notes: As a mother of two beautiful girls, (one hospital cesarean and one homebirth VBAC), I know that birth will always be a part of my life, whether I have more children or not. Birth is a natural, empowering process and every woman should have the opportunity to experience the birth they desire.
