Services: My services include 2 prenatal visits, unlimited phone contact, & 24 hr on-call availability for your labor/ birth! I will meet you at the location of your choice (home or birth place) & remain with you until after the birth of your baby. I can offer breastfeeding support and answer newborn care questions. I will visit you 1-2 days postpartum to check on your recovery, breastfeeding, and discuss your birth experience.
Qualifications: I am DONA Trained. I Volunteer with PDX Doulas, a hospital based program offering free Doula care to women with financial need. I am the mother of a beautiful 2year old boy.
Personal notes: I've already mentioned that I'm a mom. My son introduced me to the wonderful world of birth and breastfeeding.
In addition to my birth doula services, I offer breastfeeding support as a Lactation Educator and a peer counselor. Also, I am the Outreach and Education Coordinator for the Nursing Mothers Counsel of Oregon.
