I believe that each labor and birth is a unique and miraculous experience. I also believe that there is more than one good way to have a baby and that all decisions and choices should be made freely and entirely by moms and their partners.

Services: Basic service includes: Prenatal Consultation, 24-hour on call availability, early labor support at home, Support throughout labor and birth, postpartum visit. I am more than willing to work with clients to personlize my service to include more or less service.

Qualifications: I am a certified doula through DONA and have been attending births since 1996. I am also a member of ICEA and ALCAE. I attended the National DONA Conference this year and continue to educate myself through reading and videos.

Personal notes: I am a married mother of three children and am committed to empowering women in their journey through birth. I believe that most births are healthy and normal and that birth is a natural process, not an illness. I feel that I bring a sense of calmness and reassurance to a laboring mother and partner.
