Services: I like to see you at least twice before the birth where we will go through many areas of preparation for the mind, body and spirit. I will show you how to encourage you baby into the best position for labour, use active positions to facilitate a natural birth and explore fears and desires that you have about your birth and parenting.

I will sit down with you and your partner and work out what you would like me to do. I am available to assist you from your first contractions or when you are in more established labour. I will stay with you throughout your labour and birth and encourage you through YOUR birth whether assisted or natural. I will share your joy or your pain but will quietly move into the background once your baby has been born to give you special moments with your new family. I am there for you in the weeks and months after the birth for breastcare, mothercare and babycare if need be.

Qualifications: I have been helping women and their partners through the amazing experience of childbirth for the past eight years. I also have four wonderful children who have been my best teachers. I hold a bachelor of education and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Naturopathy.

Personal notes: I am passionate about womens health issues particularly birth and motherhood and how it changes how mothers experience the world. I am an earthy mother that loves colours, nature and authentic, genuine people. I enjoy having a good belly laugh with friends over a sumptuous meal.
