Services: As a Birth Doula, I offer 2-3 prenatal visits during which I hope to develop a bond with the birthing family by covering birth options, practicing labor positions, doing relaxation and visualization exercises and talking about baby care. After the birth, I offer at least one postpartum visit during which we go over the birth and discover all the details any one of us might have missed! I am always available for calls or visits pertaining to breastfeeding and baby care issues.

As a Postpartum Doula, I provide care in the home for the mother and baby, with the goal of making sure everything else is taken care of so that mom and baby can bond. This includes breastfeeding support, help with baby care, meal prep, light housekeeping, errand-running, etc. Again, I love to combine both roles so that the circle feels complete!

Qualifications: Certified Doula with Doulas of North America.

Mother of two boys, one born in the hospital and one born at home.

Personal notes: I'm a married mother of two young boys, the first born in the hospital with a nurse-midwife and the second born at home after a 2 1/2 hour labor! I am one of five doulas in Birth Assistants of Boulder, Inc., a member of La Leche League and ICAN, and am beginning my training as a childbirth educator with Lamaze.
