Personal notes: My Name is Anastacia Townsend and my approach to childbirth is based on my belief that women have an innate ability to give birth and that birth is an emotional, psychological and spiritual transformational process. I have personally experienced this with the five, each unique and amazing, births of my own and I have also witnessed this while supporting other women and their families.
I am passionate about birth and the magnificent transformation it brings. It is my privilege as a Doula, Childbirth Educator and Massage Therapist to support women and their families in that process by simply facilitating women in the discovery of their own abilities through education, support and bodywork.
I encourage parents to feel empowered and excited because they feel prepared with self-trust, wisdom and inner knowing about birth and parenting, and have tools for coping with the expected and the unexpected things that may arise.
