Joyous Birthing was founded in 1995 out of the belief that women and families deserve to have fulfilling and empowering birth experiences. We encourage education, informed choice and the nurturing of birthing mothers.

Services: We provide Childbirth Education classes, Birth Works and One-Day Prep classes, Birth Doula services and Lactation Consulting.

Qualifications: I am a certified Doula through DONA and Birth Works. I am the Chair of the Birth Doula Program and on the Board of Directors for Birth Works. I am also a Certified Childbirth Educator through Birth Works. I am an Indiana State licensed EMT and attend several continuing education seminars every year.

Personal notes: I am married to my high-school sweetheart and the mother of two beautiful daughters. One born by cesarean in 1994 and the other a VBAC born at home in 1996. I feel very grateful to be a part of the miracle of birth and helping women and couples to become families in the most positive way possible.
