Services: I meet with the expectant mom and her support person(s) several times before labor to learn about her specific needs and preferences, practice breathing and comfort techniques, and meet her care provider. I am with you continuously from the beginning of labor until your baby is born. After birth we meet at least once more to process your birth experience and discuss the details of your birth. I also offer Belly Casting (plaster casts of your pregnant belly) as a beautiful keepsake.

Qualifications: I have been a birth doula since April 2002. I completed my training through DONA. I have a BA in social work and am currently in the process of completing dual master's degrees in social work and public health, with a focus on maternal and child health.

Personal notes: I enjoy working with families from diverse backgrounds and life situations, including expectant teens, lesbian families, and polyamorous families.
