Services: I respect, honor and support the wishes of the birthing mother at all times. Once labor begins, I offer continuous, compassionate support from the time my presence is requested until 1-4 hours after the baby is born. After the birth, I make up to two post-partum home visits.
Qualifications: I am a certified Doula with DONA (Doulas of North America) and a member of Doula Services of Greater Kansas City.
Personal notes: I am constantly reading and finding new comfort measures to assist the laboring woman and ease her labor, I use aromatherapy, visualizations, massage.
