Services: Mother Care has been supporting women since 1997. Our services include independent childbirth education, both evening and weekend courses; prenatal and birth doula support; and postpartum & breastfeeding support by highly qualified and experienced professionals. Our educators provide a compassionate, supportive and nurturing environment for all parents, gently "unlocking" women's inner wisdom of birth. A mother's emotional support team is as vital to her birth experience as her medical team. Postpartum Doula support is often an important part of the transition from pregnancy to parenthood. We are pleased to offer continuous support from early pregnancy with Childbirth Education, through your pregnancy and birth with Birth Doula Support, and on to the valuable support of a Postpartum Doula.

Qualifications: Our doulas are trained and/or certified through DONA, CAPPA, GBI, and Douglas College as labour assistants, birth doulas, postpartum doulas, and childbirth educators.
