Services: Scheduled postpartum doula services available are: Non-medical help with baby. Breast & bottle feeding support. Guiding the family to integrate and bond. Other services available are light housework; laundry; meal preparation; run errands for and/or with mom & baby.
I am available on weekdays in 4 - 6 hour time blocks. My rate is $23./hr. Service packages are available.
Qualifications: I am currently working on Postpartum certification with DONA. and on obtaining certification as a Lactation Consultant.
Personal notes: I am 45, married and have one 6 year old son. I have been around and involved in infant and child care for over 20 years. My own birthing and postpartum experience was so lacking that it motivated me to get out there and help other women. I truly believe that all women should be given the opportunity to be able to experience this postpartum time in a positive and joyful way.
