Services: As a birth assistant I provide continuous, uniterrupted care for the labouring woman and her partner, and help them participate fully in their experience by offering physical and emotional support and information about the birth process, available technology and alternatives. I like to meet with you prenatally, the visits include sharing information and choices surrounding the pregnancy, approaching birth, early parenting and contraception. I provide professional care and I understand and trust the process of birth, I respect it's spiritual and sacred aspects as well as its physical and emotional aspects, and help facilatate the birth experience for parents, baby and primary care providers. I also provide follow up visits during the early weeks following the birth of your baby.

Qualifications: Childbirth Educator, trained with ACE Graphics and I have work along side with homebirth midwives in various settings.

Personal notes: I am a Childbirth Educator, and I have have assisted women giving birth at home and in hospital since 1994. I am also a mother of 5 children.
