Personal notes: All three of us are passionate about birth, babies and helping women and their families have the best possible birthing experience. We believe that birth is an incredible process that needs emotional and physical support. We also believe in finding the harmony between the natural and medical approaches to birth, and supporting women in their choices no matter where they fall in that spectrum.
We come from a variety of personal birth experiences. Helen has three children, all born at home in water under midwifery care. Gwen has one child born in hospital 6 weeks early. Jennifer has two teenage children, one born via C-section and the other naturally.
