Services: I provide birth doula services and postpartum services.
Initial consultation, prenatal meeting with you and your OB/GYN or Midwife, birth planning session. I am with you and your partner throughout the labor process until your baby arrives. I meet with you a day or two after the birth to process your experience. As a gift I give you a hand written birth Story and a black and white photo (5 x 7) of your newborn. I do postpartum home support too. Assistance of breastfeeding, newborn care, mommy care, light massage, and light household tasks.
Qualifications: I am training through DONA. Birth Doula program and Postpartum training.
Personal notes: I am a mother in my mid 30’s. I have had four beautiful children, Garrett, Tyler, Alicia and Alexa. I experienced a loss with my first baby. He had a rare syndrome called CHARGE. I know how scary it can be, not knowing what the outcome is going to be with having a child. I have always wanted to be a mother and to help mothers through the birth process. I have had many support people around me with all my children. However at the birth of my 4th, I had a Doula and what a difference it made. I had no pain medication and she was born and went straight to nursing. I felt on top of the world. I did it all with the encouraging words as my Doula whispered in my ear, “you are doing it, trust your body and you can accomplish anything.” I want to be that person to you as you and your partner experience the birth of your little miracle.
