Services: Prenatal visit/s to discuss birth planning and the partner's important role; continuous gentle care in active labour, assistance with positioning for optimal progress, breathing, other comfort measures, emotional support; notes and photos as requested; care until 1 to 2 hours after birth; postnatal visit. Childbirth education classes available (group or private).
Qualifications: Certified Birth Doula with DONA International, Lamaze trained childbirth educator.
Personal notes: Rae received her certification with DONA in 2002 and has attended 60+ births. She is married with three wonderful daughters who have taught her much about birthing and life!
