Qualifications: I am a member and in good standing with DONA. I have compleated the Dona Doula Training and am working twards certification. I gave birth naturaly to my son at our home in Ester under the care of Dana Brown.

Personal notes: My first experiances with the awesomness of birth were when I was a child and helped my mother give birth to my sister and brother. Those family birth experiences strengthened my faith in myself as a woman. I am convinced they enhanced the delivery of my son, Moss, in 2001, and impacted my life forever. I awoke the morning after his birth with the sure knowledge that I am the be mother to my son, partner to my husband, and a "mother to the mother," supporting other women who labor in childbirth. I love to cook (and eat!) and walk off the results as I wander the woods, road, and sledding hills around our home with our son. We frequently explore the library together. I am fascinated with the lives and cultures of women through the ages.
