Services: My Services Provide: 2 prenatal interviews- I want to get to know you. We will discuss your birth plan, go over your fears and wishes. Labor Support- I will be with you from the time you call me to your birth till 2 hours after the baby is born. Postpartum- I make an apointment to meet up with you 2-6 weeks after the birth. Photograhpy- I am a freelance photographer and on request and additional charges, take photos of the labor and birth. I also do prenatal and postpartum photos.

Qualifications: To provide emotional support to the laboring mother. I have been through the Dona Birth Doula training workshop. I am in the process of being certified with Dona.

Personal notes: I have been studying the role of the Doula since April 2002. I am still new to being a Active Doula. I have done many prenatal interviews. Meeting Mothers and giving advice. I have waited to go to a birth until I had gained enough knowledge to feel comfortable with providing the right support for a birthing mom. As of now I have done one birth and I left the hospital in tears. I couldn't believe that I helped someone have a softer labor. Most amazing feeling I have felt since my son was born. I am learning more and more everyday. I fall more in love with being a Doula everyday.
