Personal notes: I love being a doula and providing continuous, compassionate, non-judgemental support to a birthing mother and her partner. I assist mothers to become empowered over their birthing choices as evidence shows that this will have the best effect on mother and baby.
After the baby is born, most new parents are greatly in need of some extra support. I can provide assistance that is broad, practical and flexible and can come in many forms, such as home help, shopping, childcare, cooking, breastfeeding difficulties and general emotional support.
Birth and parenthood are major life transitions, and the adjustment period feels less overwhelming when someone is available to address your questions and concerns.
