Services: Home and Hospital births. I offer two packages that include from one to several pre/post natal visits. These also include phone support, education and information to help you be well informed. I will support you in the birth of your choice. I can help you with understanding the body-mind relationship to labor and pain and we can work with visualizations and meditative states, if you so desire. I will give you continual emotional and physical support throughout your labor and delivery and help with your first breastfeeding. I can then follow through with one or two post partum visits, as needed or desired.

Qualifications: Certified Childbirth Assistant through Childbirth Enhancement Foundation (CEF)

Personal notes: I have been an alternative healer in Santa Fe for over 28 years, focusing on emotional and spiritual healing. Prior to this I worked in hospital Coronary Care Unit, so I am comfortable in both the medical and alternative fields of healing. I've been attending births since 1983. I see birth as a natural and normal process and will work with you to find your own body wisdom that will remind you of what may be best at different stages of labor. I also direct a Mentoring program for intern doulas so that they have support, guidance and teaching as they newly navigate the birthing world. I love my work as a doula and feel it is a great priviledge to attend births.
