Services: I offer 2 prenatal visits, unlimited prenatal phone visits, continuous labor support up to and including 2 hours postpartum. Breastfeeding support and a minimum of one postnatal visit. Access to my personal library and birth plan counseling. I will be on call 24 hours a day 2 weeks prior to your due date until your birth day. I offer this service in Peace River and surrounding areas.
Qualifications: I am currently attempting to certify with DONA and will be taking an advanced doula course in the spring of 2005. I have had the honor and privilege of attending 6 births since 2001.
Personal notes: I am the mother to three children born between 1986 and 1996. At the birth of our third child our doula enabled me to have a drug free, natural birth. As well her breastfeeding support helped me to nurse successfully for the first time. This support has led me to the path I follow today.
