Initial meeting to discuss your needs/desires and present GentleBorn services. In-home prenatal support and birth planning. 24-hour on-call starting two weeks before your due date. Active/continuous labor support at home/hospital. Postpartum support at home!
Qualifications: Warm personality with extensive doula training with both ALACE and DONA. I have both home and hospital birth experience with single women and families.
Personal notes: I began doula training in 1997 and have worked with midwives, doulas, and families throughout New England. I have studied with home-birth midwives in Maine, worked with the Cambridge Birth Center Midwives in Massachusetts, and now live with my partner in New Hampshire. We do not have children of our own, but have strong roots in the area. I am excited to offer services to southeastern NH women and their families.
