Services: I provide valuable non-judgemental emotional support during the sensitive postpartum time. I provide assistance with breastfeeding, newborn and sibling care as well as light housekeeping. Free prenatal meeting, and gift certificates available. Excellent references.
Qualifications: I am a NAPS certified postpartum doula. I expect my DONA certification to be approved in April 2005. I have completed a DONA certified training at the Seattle Midwifery School, breastfeeding, CPR and First Aid training.
Personal notes: I became motivated to assist and nurture others in their postpartum time through the experience of having my own two children in 2000 and 2004. It was during this time that I came to appreciate how much there is to learn about our new roles and responsibilities as mothers and how overwhelming being a new mother can sometimes be. I love helping new families adjust into parenthood. I look forward to helping you in this most special time too!
