Services: I primarily provide birth doula services. However, I also offer belly casting, photography prior to, during and after the birth, and memory books containing pictures and the birth story. I also help plan baby showers and soon hope to organize a new mothers outing group.
Qualifications: I have recently been trained as a doula through a Doulas of North America (DONA) approved training, and am currently finishing the few last requirements for DONA certification. I have a background in mentoring and counseling and would love to help any women needing it. I have also attended diversity and communication trainings and welcome all women, no matter race, creed, religion, marital status, age, sexual orientation or ability to pay (we can always work something out).
Personal notes: Born and raised in Indiana, I attended boarding school in New Jersey and college in Los Angeles. I returned to Indiana in 2002 with my husband to begin our lives together while being close to my family.
