Services: I offer a free birth photographer and lactation counseling, childbirth classes, belly casting and belly henna tattoos for small fee, and of course, I offer an endless variety of comfort measures for labor, birth and post-partum. I also am quite beneficial to mothers who choose epidurals or who need c-sections.
Qualifications: I worked as an uncertified post-partum and birth doula for five years and am now trained through BOCES and am currently in certification. I assisted a traditional midwife at homebirths and waterbirths in NE and am familiar with alternative medicine and birth.
Personal notes: I am a SAHM to 3 kids and am a military wife. I have had two partial previas and no c-sections. I have experienced several post-partum hemorrages and no hysterectomy. I truly believe with the right woman-to-woman care, most of the worst pregnancy and birth problems can be resolved into a happy and healthy birth! God bless my midwives!
