Services: I provide as many home visits during pregnancy to ensure you and your partner are comfortable with me as your doula and that we have an in depth understanding of your needs and wishes. I am available 24 hours a day for the two weeks leading up to and following your birth. I will stay with you for the duration of your birth, facilitating communication between you and your doctors or midwives. I will be with you to ensure you are comfortable and that baby is nursing in the hours that follow your birth. We will also visit two or three times, depending on your need, at home to discuss your birth, any concerns you have about motherhood, family life, nursing or anything that is important to you at this time. I will provide support, care, information and referrals and an open mind and heart.

Qualifications: I am DONA trained and have many years of experience working with community organizations focusing on midwifery, birthing, breastfeeding, depression, single-motherhood, and children's health and well-being.

Personal notes: I am a mother of a beautiful boy named Léo, born in 2003. I nursed exclusively for 6 months and continued well into the second year. I live on my own with my son and am actively involved in the community working with mothers who are single parenting.
