Services: I am available as a birth or postpartum doula, or both. I can help you stay home as long as you want while in labor (if a hospital birth) or support you in a homebirth. I am flexible, so if you want to know about something in particular, just e-mail or call.
Qualifications: I am apprenticing with a local midwife, and have been studying about pregnancy and birth for 4 years. I will be attending a formal ALACE birth doula training in February 2006, but have been studying on my own in the meantime.
Personal notes: I am a 26 year old wife and mother of 3 children. I am training to be a midwife, and I hope to make that a reality sometime in 2006. I believe women deserve to know what options are available to them, and they should be able to make truly informed decisions about their own pregnancies/births.
