Services: As a birth doula I offer 2 prenatal visits inclluding childbirth instruction, labor and delivery assistance and 1 postnatal visit with breatfeeding guidance.
As a postpartum doula, I am available on a weekly-contract basis to assist mother, father and baby at home, including breastfeeding assistance, housework, sibling childcare and errands.
Qualifications: Member of Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA), fully insured, a couples and individuals therapist for 25 years, active member of Mothering and More, Reading.
Personal notes: Unable to have children, I unexpectedly became pregnant at age 43 and delivered a beautiful redheaded daughter by natural childbirth, in a hospital setting and with a doula's exceptional help. Now that she is grown, I am daily delighted to help other women experience what I did, birth as it was intended, free from fear and pain, in the hospital, a birthing center or at home according to her birth plan choices.
