Services: Options in Childbirth - This is a one time class in the convenience of your home to discuss the type of birth you would like to have and all of the options available to you to help you achieve that birth experience. A recommended reading list is provided. Doula or Labour Assistant - Consists of two to three prenatal visits, about three months prior to the expected due date. This is the time to address any questions or concerns you may have, as well as developing a birth plan. I would be present during early labour, during active labour and the birth. Wherever you are most comfortable; at home, birth centre or hospital. Up to three postpartum visits after the birth to address any questions or concerns with breastfeeding. Photos and/or video of the birth if requested. I offer Reflexology and Reiki as part of my Doula Services to aid in pain relief during labour and postpartum.

Qualifications: In the process of CAPPA Canada certification

Personal notes: For the past nine years I have investigated every option available in regards to labour and birth. You're child's birth will be an experience you will remember all you're life. It is my firm belief that every mother needs to be able to find and access all of the options available to her so that she can make informed decisions for herself and her baby. I also believe that it is extremely important for the mother to be well supported, not only with information, but emotional and physical support, during and after the birth.
