Qualifications: I have been a Doula since 2001 and I am a member of Charlotte Doulas, Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA), Doulas Of North America (DONA), and The Birth Care Network, of Louisville, KY.

Personal notes: I was trained in NC through CAPPA by a wonderful midwife and Doula. I have experience with varying types of situations, I have attended VBAC’s, 1st time moms to 4th time moms and vacuum extraction births just to name a few. I am always ready for whatever needs to be dealt with. A little bit about my personal life; I am a happily married mother of three, living in Elizabethtown, KY (Formerly Shelby, NC). I have given birth to 3 premature infants and I am personally experienced in the High Risk Pregnancy field. Moms with high-risk pregnancies hold a special place in my heart. I know the challenges, first hand, of bed rest, nursing a premature infant, and the many challenges that come with a High Risk Pregnancy.
