Services: I am on-call 2 weeks prior to and after your due date and provide continuous support throughtout labor and birth. I use techniques that I have learned over the years and make suggestions to you for optimal positioning for your baby. I also support fathers and partners by encouraging them to become more involved.

Qualifications: I gained my certification as a labor support Doula through DONA in 2001. Since then I have attended many workshops, seminars and conferences around the country with the women and men who strive to support and help women to have a better birthing experience. I am the co-founder of Empowered Birth workshops offered in the Hudson Valley.

Personal notes: I am the mother of a teenage daughter who has been my joy and inspiration since the day she was born. I believe birth is a rite of passage and an experience you never forget.
