Qualifications: My training with birth over the past twenty years has come from several areas. I'm trained with DONA (Doulas Of North America) and A.L.A.C.E. (Association of Labor Assistants and Childbirth Educators). My trianing includes working as a Midwifes birth assistant at a "Birth Center". I work with the Healthy Start Coalition to promote a healthy pregnancy and baby. I'm involved with "Mary's Shelter" a home for pregnant women. I'm also a Childbirth Educator and teach birth classes.

Personal notes: I am the mother of six children. I had two homebirths and four hospital births. My last birth was a C-section. All of my babies have been breasfed.
