I began teaching yoga to mums in 2002 and since then added pregnancy yoga and preparing for labour couples workshops. I have always felt deeply moved to be able to work with women in different ways during this transformational time of our lives.

Services: I inherently believe in the wisdom of a woman's body to give birth; while preparing for birth as a sacred rite of passage. Exploring beliefs and attitudes towards birth, either through dialogue or birth art. I like to meet with parents 2-3 times prenatally to establish raport and get to know each other. I will be on call for your birth and available to talk as often as needed. I will join you when you would like and stay with you until your baby is born and you are comfortable. Postnatally - 2 visits, one within 24 hours after your baby is born, the second within 2 weeks after your baby's birthday.

Qualifications: Certified doula with Childbirth International (CD - CBI). Recognised Birth doula with Doula UK. Paramana Doula Course with Michel Odent in September 2005. Birthing From Within Mentor in Training - completed the Level 1 syllabus. Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance and Affilated Anusara Yoga Teacher.

Personal notes: My passion for pregnancy and childbirth was sparked from the birth of my first daughter in My second daughter was born in 2001, again a waterbirth baby, born sunnyside up into my eager and tired arms! Since both my births affected me on different levels - ultimately both changed me deeply and led me to a new place of strength; my desire to work with other women during the childbearing years was formed.
