Services: I offer doula services in the Denver and surrounding area up to 60 miles away. I offer a free interview/consultation so you can meet me and decide if my services are a good fit for you and your partner. I can also offer referrals to other area doulas that you might have a better fit with. You will then have 2 or 3 prenatal visits to create a birth plan, discuss your fears or concerns, try out childbirth positions with your partner and just get to know one another before your big day. During your labor I help you and your partner work together, in other words I help Dad to help you, I don’t replace him. I am on call for you starting at 38 weeks and come to you whenever you are ready whether it is at home or at the hospital. I stay with you for up to 2 hours after the birth or until you feel comfortable. If you are breastfeeding I will stay to help you with that as well. I follow up with you with 2 postpartum visits, one in the hospital and one once you get settled in at home. I provide you with a written birth story at your postpartum visit as well as a personalized gift at the delivery. I offer unlimited phone and email support up to 6 weeks postpartum, even if you just need someone to talk to and am available to attend midwife or doctor appointments with you. I also provide pre and postnatal massage. I provide services to families regardless of sexual orientation, race, or religion. I am experienced in natural and medicated labors, cesareans, and preterm births.

Qualifications: Birth doula since 2004 Certification pending with ALACE CPR and BLS certified Nationally Certified Massage Therapist

Personal notes: I have been attending births since February of 2004. I am a surrogate mom of one and trying to get pregnant with a second. I only accept 3 clients a month to allow myself ample time to devote to all my "families". References are available upon request.
