Birth Package - Designed for clients who desire a doula at their birth, this package includes two in-home prenatal meetings, attendance at the labor and birth, and one postpartum meeting. The doula is always accessible to her birth clients by phone or email to answer questions. Services include informational support, comfort measures, assistance with breastfeeding, and photography.

Postpartum Services - Flexible, stress-free support for the new family. Services include care for mom, baby, family and home.

Childbirth and Infant Care Education - Customized, private in home education that works into anyone's schedule. Customized handouts and informational packets are included. Each series is approximately six hours divided into two three hour sessions or three two hour sessions.

Our services emphasize the sharing of the most up-to-date and research-based information available to assist the family in making decisions regarding their birth experience and newborn care.

Qualifications: CD(DONA); BA in Literature

Personal notes: I was trained as a birth doula four years ago, and received my certification from DONA. I also have a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from Brown University, where I minored in French and education. I recently completed a dynamic, 18-hour course on breastfeeding offered by the Philadelphia Department of Health. I have attended natural, cesarean, VBAC, and drug-assisted births. My own son's birth was a homebirth transfer to the hospital, so I have personal as well as professional experience dealing with unexpected labors and deliveries. I like to write, and I give all of my clients a personalized birth story.
