I have had DONA training and will be completing my certification requirements by October of this year.
I am taking classes to become a Postpartum doula and a Childbirth Educator and will be completing my certification within 12 to 15 months
I was a certified foster parent for 6 years
Owned and Operated a Daycare for 12 years ( newborns and infants )
Personal notes: I have 4 kids ( 2 girls 2 boys ) I have 4 grandkids. We have a big family. I have always wanted to be a doula. My mom died when I was young so I help raise my sisters. I was there when they had their kids. I was a foster parent for a while. Then I started a Daycare TLC and I have taken care of alot of babies in those 12 years. But my goal was to become a Doula and now I am making my dream come true. I do not regret what I have done. I treasure those years, being apart of so many peoples life. So now I am going to be the best doula I can be for you, to help you and your partner supporting you while you bring your baby into the world the way you want to , because this is your birth and you deserve to have it the way you and your partner want it to be a Special Delivery
