Services: I am available by phone for advice and consultations in the months leading up to your birth. I am on call 2 weeks before your due date and will be with you from the moment you call until at least 2 hours after the birth of your baby. I will stay long enough to assist with breastfeeding and any other issues that may arise shortly after the birth. I can visit you 1-2 times during the post partum period and am available by phone anytime after your baby is born to answer any questions.

Qualifications: I have attended several births as a birth doula and am currently working on my certification with DONA International.

Personal notes: I'm the mother of 2 young girls and I have a third child on the way. I birthed all of my children completely naturally with the help of a Birth Doula. My experiences have made me realize that women are strong and amazing and can accomplish anything! I have my BA in History from the University of Illinois and my M.Ed in Early Childhood Education from DePaul University. I teach in the Education Department at DePaul (part time) and also work as an independent Birth Doula. I live in the Beverly neighborhood of Chicago.
