Personal notes: Karen Wang is a birth and postpartum doula, as well as the founder of Serenova Childbirth Services. Graduating with a Biology degree from Queen's University, she went into full time teaching for five years before becoming a DONA-trained doula. Empowered by the birth of her daughter to provide a meaningful service to her local community, she created Serenova Childbirth Services to reach out to other parents who might need support during this exciting but also challenging time.
