Personal notes: I'm in my thirties and have 7 good children. My passion has been pregnancy and birth since a child and all I had ever dreamed about was becoming a midwife. I currently work part time as a Doula and part time training nannies, mothers, au pairs etc on various training courses based at Reading University in England. I adore teaching and its wonderfulto watch a parents confidence grow over the first few weeks and walking away knowing that another new family are happily getting to know each other is a very special thing. I'm lucky in that a lot of my 'babies' are still very close to me - indeed the eldest is now learning to drive!
