Personal notes: We promote labor support by educating families and the birth community about the role of the doula, provide ongoing education for doulas, and help families locate doulas in Louisiana. With active groups in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans areas, the Louisiana Childbirth Collective serves birthing families throughout our state. Please contact us anytime during your pregnancy. We recommend exploring education programs and doula services by your fourth month, but it is never too late or too early to learn more about birth.
