I have been a birth and postpartum Doula for 7 years and am a student Midwife. Each mother and baby is unique and I therefore strive to provide individual care pre-natally, during birth and during the postpartum time.

Services: I provide two or more pre-natal visits and am on call around the clock for the birth. During the birth process, I arrive as soon as the mother desires, stay as long as it takes and stay for one to two hours after the birth. I provide two postpartum visits as well as breastfeeding support. I provide support at hospitals, birth centers and at home. I am able to provide BP checks and heart tone checks for those who desire a hospital birth but would like to stay home as long as possible. I am also a Master Herbalist and provide herbal products for pregnancy, birth, postpartum and lactation.

Qualifications: I trained as a Doula at the Seattle Midwifery School and have attended over 70 births. I am currently a student Midwife as well.

Personal notes: I am a mother of two children, both born at home. I believe women today deserve much more support during the childbearing year than they currently receive and therefore I strive to be a resource for information, support and encouragement.
