Services: I offer professional labor support, childbirth education, breastfeeding assistance, belly casting, and VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) support to women and their partners throughout Southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod, and Rhode Island. Drawing on knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as personal experiences to provide emotional support, physical comfort, and information expecting families need to make informed decisions as they arise during labor. I provide reassurance and perspective to both the mother and her partner, make suggestions for labor progress, and help with relaxation, massage, positioning and other specialized techniques for comfort. I believe in a doula for every woman...low cost and sliding scale services are available.

Qualifications: ALACE Doula and Childbirth Educator, member of Operation Special Delivery-providing free services to pregnant women whose husbands or partners are deployed at the time that they are due to give birth

Personal notes: I am the mother of 5 wonderful children with over 8 years of breastfeeding experience. I never underestimate the power that information, education and support can provide a woman and her partner in making their birth experience their own...both wonderful and empowering!
