Services: I provide physical, emotional, and informational support to women during labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period, including breastfeeding support. I help ease anxiety and fears, remaining present for you no matter how your path to birth unfolds. I provide constant one-to-one support, including helping with pain coping techniques, suggesting positions to help labor progress, and helping you and your partner form and make decisions. I will support whatever decision you make regarding your birth. I believe in your ability to give birth and I help you to realise this ability.

Personal notes: As an experienced mother of three, I have learned the importance of a strong support network during life's transition periods. In 2000 I obtained my Bachelor of Applied Science in psychology with a minor in women's studies from the University of Minnesota. I am an accredited La Leche League Leader and lead La Leche League (mother-to-mother breastfeeding support group) meetings in Vancouver, BC on a monthly basis. I am a DONA trained doula and am honoured and privileged to witness and support women and their partners as they give birth and unfold as parents.
