Qualifications: I have been working on doula education and training for over two years. I am a memeber of DONA and researcher for the Heart of Illinois Doula Association.
Personal notes: I am a strong proponent of informed consent. I believe that parents should be given all the information and from there, they will make the best choices for themselves. I am here to support your vision of birth, whatever that may be. Every birth is a blessed and sacred event that should be at once celebrated and treated with respect.
Postpartum doulas help ease the transition of the early weeks. Helping hands help reduce the stress for Mom and Dad freeing them to celebrate baby's arrival.
