I believe that birth is a life-changing event for the mother, birth coach, and baby being birthed. It is my desire to protect the sacred space in which a couple births in while supporting the process in a gentle and loving manner.

Qualifications: I am a La Leche League certified Breastfeeding Peer Counselor. I am certified by Auset Doula as a postpartum doula. I trained with ALACE as a birth doula and am currently working to fulfill my requirements for certification.

Personal notes: I am blessed to be the mother of a son, Sam, born in November of 2004. In my life before motherhood, I worked in professional theatre making costumes for stage and opera. I speak fluent spanish, have traveled extensively, enjoy gardening and nature.
