Services: Ann offers Childbirth and Labor Services as a Doula. Her doula service includes prenatal visits, birth and postpartum plan creation, labor support, newborn photography, website with photos, and the creation of a birth story. Ann offers engaging and creative Childbirth preparation classes that are based on the well know book, Birthing from Within. She is also available to create belly casts for pregnant mothers and for pregnancy, childbirth and newborn ceremonies.

Qualifications: Ann has taken Doula Training with DONA and has trained with Birthing From Within and is a participant in their Mentor program.

Personal notes: Working closely with partners, Ann provides informational, emotional, physical and spiritual comfort to pregnant and laboring women. Ann believes that birth is a profound rite of passage and provides support in a warm, professional and non-judgmental manner. She honors each mother�s choice in how she brings her child into this world. Ann assists families in their consideration of options and preparations for birth and parenthood. When working with Ann, a mother gains confidence in her ability to birth a child by being encouraged to love her body, listen to her body and to trust her body. Ann tailors her care to what is needed in a specific moment and assists a mother to birth in-the-moment not toward an expected outcome. When needed, Ann gently guides mothers and their families through unexpected or unwelcome events may occur in labor. As a mother, Ann has personally experienced the beauty of pregnancy and the wisdom and power that comes from childbirth and is honored to share in this transformational experience with other mothers.
